KELLY GROUP GETS AA RATING, LEVEL 3 CONTRIBUTOR STATUS FROM EMPOWERDEX

Johannesburg, 13 March 2008 - Comprehensive employment services and outsource solutions provider the Kelly Group has been awarded an AA rating by Empowerdex, the independent BEE rating agency.

The rating makes the Kelly Group a level 3 contributor to meaningful broad-based empowerment in South Africa and it is considered to be more than fully compliant with the BEE codes, meaning its clients can claim 110% of their procurement from the Kelly Group in their own BEE credentials.

The high rating is attributable to the Kelly Group’s 37.64% black ownership as well as its broad-based black empowerment policies and practices which Empowerdex ranked as among the best in the industry.

“We’re very pleased by this objective measurement of the significant progress we’ve made on the empowerment front, but we’re far from complacent about our BEE credentials. It remains a high priority to find more ways of enhancing our BEE status and keeping us in the forefront of transformation in our industry. These efforts are by no means limited to the boardroom and shareholder level, but extend throughout the group and to all that we do,” says chief executive Grenville Wilson.
